Graham Finlay has been teaching political theory and human rights at UCD since 2004. In 2009-2010 he was a Member of the School of Social Science of the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, working on a project on ‘Cosmopolitan Citizenship Education’. From 2013-2017 he was Principal Investigator at UCD for two projects, FP7 FRAME and FP7 bEUcitizen, which studied EU human rights and citizenship policies, respectively, and both of which had a significant migration component. He is interested in justice in migration, the human rights of migrants, migration and development, access to citizenship and the gendered aspects of migration, including international networks of care.
